The Stamp Collection
The stamp collection dates from the beginning of the 20th century until today. The stamps feature rulers of the Al Busaidi dynasty, commemorative issues, first day covers, famous buildings and boats. The Renaissance collection dates from the 1970s. The collection includes Zanzibari, Indian, Pakistani and British stamps that were used until 1966, when Oman’s postal service was taken over by the government.
