The Al Zubair family has carefully assembled Oman’s finest and ever-evolving private collection that is housed at Bait Al Zubair Museum. It consists of specially selected, inherited or donated pieces spanning a number of centuries and regions that reflect Oman’s rich cultural heritage and unique identity.
The collection includes traditional Omani weaponry, jewellery, costume, household utensils and furniture, early European maps and prints of the Arabian Peninsula and East Africa, early photographs, satellite images, coins, stamps, musical instruments, documents, manuscripts and books.
