Work Experience
People who are interested in undertaking work experience or volunteer work are
interviewed and then placed in relevant areas within the organisation under a
mentor, to whom they report. Work experience placements and volunteers are
expected to work regular working hours. At the end of the work
experience/volunteer program all participants receive a letter of recommendation
stating the experience gained. This program is free and enables participants to
get first-hand experience of a museum on a day-to-day basis and may assist with
future employment.
